Card Cabinet is designed as a private digital archive for business cards. The app helps you capture card details, store contact records, add notes, and manage membership access.
Information You Provide
You may add business card images, names, companies, roles, email addresses, phone numbers, websites, addresses, groups, and notes. This information is used to create and manage your card archive.
Scanning and Processing
When you choose to analyze a card image, the image may be sent to a secure processing service to extract contact details. The processing service returns structured fields for your review. Do not scan cards containing sensitive information you do not want processed.
Local Storage
Card Cabinet is built around local-first storage. Card records and notes are stored on your device unless a future cloud sync feature is enabled by you.
Accounts and Subscriptions
If you use sign-in, email verification, or subscription features, Card Cabinet may process account identifiers and purchase status so that your membership can be recognized and restored. Purchases are handled by Apple and subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate app features, such as card analysis, email verification, purchase entitlement management, and infrastructure hosting.
Contact Export
If you export a card to your device contacts, that exported information is handled by iOS and any services connected to your contacts account.
Children
Card Cabinet is intended for professional use and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page.
